Tameka Butt is a midfielder in the Australian National Women’s Soccer Team, the Matildas. At just 24, Meeks (as she’s affectionately known) has amassed close to 50 caps for her country and has been an integral part of the Brisbane Roar Women’s Team in the W-League. Meeks is currently playing in her second World Cup and was a part of the historic side that won the Asian Cup in 2011. She’s has played in the U.S, Canadian, Japanese and German competitions as well. When she’s not playing soccer you can catch Meeks surfing, sailing, studying her Masters of Business at Griffith University or simply hanging out with best friend and fellow Matildas teammate Elise Kellond-Knight.
