Katie Brennan is one of the biggest names in Women’s footy. The 22 year old hails from Queensland where she first started playing AFL after getting the call up in her brother’s Under 8s team when they were short a player. Brennan quickly rose the AFL ranks and was a part of the inaugural AFL program at the Australian Institute of Sport and holds a personal record of 11 straight premierships dating back to her junior years. 2017 is another exciting year for women in sport with the launch of the inaugural AFL National Women’s League and that’s where you’ll see more of Katie as she pulls on the Western Bulldogs jersey. All this while running a strength and conditioning business (KB Performance) and studying at university.
