Beryl Friday is the energetic and loveable goal shooter for the Queensland Firebirds. Hailing from Ingham in North Queensland Beryl was discovered at a netball clinic when she was a teenager and offered a sports scholarship in Brisbane. At 21, she’s the only Aboriginal player in the ANZ Championship and a proud Indigenous woman.
